At GU/MSB we offer associate (A.A.S.) and bachelor’s (B.S.) degree programs to prepare students for careers in the music business:

Bachelor of Science in Business Management: Music BusinessThis four-year degree program is for someone who is determined to enter the music industry with the strongest business credentials possible. Coursework covers advanced business topics in marketing, Internet marketing, copyrights, publishing, employment law and intercultural communications. It also includes in-depth music industry studies in areas including entertainment networking, self-promotion, artist management, copyright and music publishing, and current trends in music business. The Bachelor's in Business Management: Music Business is offered online and at campuses in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, St. Cloud, Rochester and Moorhead, MN; Eau Claire, WI; and Sioux Falls, SD.

Associate in Applied Science in Music Business – This two-year program will prepare you to get your foot in the door with a music industry employer, or to manage your own self-driven career. Students receive an overview of business concepts, music industry knowledge, and audio production knowledge necessary to succeed as agents, promoters and publicists.The A.A.S. in Music Business program is available at our Brooklyn Center, Woodbury, Richfield and St. Cloud campuses.
